Cynthia Whitman is proud to be part of the team at Marin Theatre, bringing high quality professional productions to North Bay audiences. She's a 6th generation San Franciscan, & moved home to the Bay Area in 2020 after many years living in Colorado & New York. She also works as the Front of House Manager & Volunteer Coordinator for Sonoma Arts Live theatre company. And she has worked as a Dresser, Follow Spot Operator, & Box Office Assistant for Transcendence Theatre Company. As a performer, Cynthia has acted & sang in light opera, musicals, plays, films, commercials, readings, concerts, & cabarets in California, Colorado, New York, & the United Kingdom. She also sings with the Areté Singers / Mistletoe Carolers at events & parties around the Bay Area. She has a BA in Drama from Colorado College. In her free time, Cynthia loves sewing costumes & historical dress, & learning more about gardening.
