WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU BACK!
We are looking forward to joyfully reopening our theatre for live performances! Before we can do that, we need to prepare our building, restore our staff, engage with playwrights, performers, and designers – all the things that will make our coming together again safe and memorable. To do that, we need your help. Already many of you have donated, and your generosity and belief in our theatre is the greatest encouragement. If you have not already donated, and if you are able, please make a gift to help us safely open our doors and welcome you back to our theatre.Learn more
Theatre Bay Area (TBA), the Bay Area’s theatre arts service organization, announced the creation of common health protocols to protect returning audiences. MTC has joined a growing coalition of more than 30 performing arts organizations who have committed to these baseline practices based on California state guidelines. Effective immediately and until November 1, 2021, the signatory companies are requiring audience members at indoor performances to provide proof of full vaccination before entry. Accommodations for attendees legally exempted from vaccines (attendees under the age of 12 or those with a medical or religious exemptions) vary by company. Secondly, all audience members will be required to wear face masks inside each venue. For a complete guide to MTC safety protocols, click on the link below.
