About MTC SUMMER INTENSIVE for Grades 9-12:

Marin Theatre Company is excited to announce our brand new Summer Acting Intensive! Designed for High School students with a passion for Acting, the Intensive will help train the actor’s fundamental tools – voice, speech, and movement.

Students will incorporate physical training, along with strengthening text analysis and characterization, into scene work. Gaining rehearsal and stage experience, this intensive will increase the young actor’s ability and confidence in the creation of emotional connectivity and scene specificity within the world of a play.

The Intensive will culminate in a showcase of work on our Boyer Mainstage for friends and family to attend.

While no prior acting experience is required to attend, we are asking that everyone who signs up is ready to hit the ground running and give 100%!

Price: $1250

$1250 includes two weeks of high-end and extremely fun theatre camp in a professional theatre - PLUS an end-of-camp showcase performance!

Refund Policy:

All students must submit a $100.00 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration to hold their place in the program. This deposit will be included in the final cost of tuition.

Tuition will be non-refundable starting two weeks before the start of your students session. But we here at MTC understand that there’s a lot happening in the world and that, well, life happens. Especially in this ever-shifting COVID landscape. Should the camps need to be canceled for pandemic-related reasons, we will be able to either issue full refunds or credit for any other education programming in the future.
