ABOUT
Experience Shakespeare at his most taut and tense as we pit two of the best actors in the Bay Area against each other in psychological single combat. Don’t miss Aldo Billingslea as Othello and Craig Marker as Iago on our intimate stage.

Be transported back to the time of the Italian Renaissance, to the opulent courts of Venice and the fortified ports of Cyprus. The mercenary Moor Othello, general of the Venetian armies, has married Desdemona, the daughter of a powerful senator. But, the villain Iago, jealous for having been passed over for promotion in favor of the untested Florentine Michael Cassio, conspires to poison the couple’s delight. He will stop at nothing until he uses Desdemona to destroy the two men he hates. With nearly 20 Shakespeare productions under his belt, Artistic Director Jasson Minadakis helms this tragic, timeless tale of love, deceit, jealousy and murder.
