MARY WARREN - Female. Teens-20s. The Proctors’ servant, timid and impressionable. She is easily influenced and torn between telling the truth and protecting herself from the other girls.
JOHN PROCTOR - Male. 30-40s. A strong, respected farmer in his community , deeply moral but burdened by guilt over a past affair. He is independent, honest, and ultimately driven to reclaim his integrity, even at great personal cost.

ZHOU HU - Female. 50s. Chinese American. Pronounced “Joe”, Jenny’s younger sister, does not care about convention enough to follow it or rebel from it. An explorer who has never explored herself, including her queerness.
HOPE - Female. 50-60s. Excited, dreamy, if she were a floral arrangement element, she’d be baby’s breath.
