Alan Wade*

For the performances of June 30 to July 5, Alan Wade replaces Charles Shaw Robinson as Mr. Pendleton.

Alan Wade appeared earlier this year in the Washington, DC, Studio Theatre production of Choir Boy, and is pleased to return to the role here at the Marin Theatre Company. His extensive Washington, DC-area credits include work at Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Center Stage, Stage Guild, Metro Stage, Horizons Theatre, and Potomac Theatre Project. In New York he appeared off-Broadway at The Atlantic Theatre, and in Chicago at The Victory Gardens Theatre. Film and Television include The Pelican Brief, Major League II, Homicide: Life in the Streets, and A Man Called Hawk. Voice-over work includes Time-Life Books, The Smithsonian Institution, and Bell and Howell. He has directed for Olney Theatre, Washington Stage Guild, the Bay Theatre, and The National Players touring company. He is a professor of theatre at The George Washington University, and this month completes a one-year term as Interim Director of the university’s Corcoran School of the Arts and Design.
