OUR HEALTH AND SAFETY/COVID POLICIES
As the broader community eases its COVID-19 prevention efforts, the risk to our work at Marin Theatre Company remains. Just one identified case among artists or staff can create a ripple effect of canceled rehearsals and performances. We will continue to follow strict protocols in order to meet contractual agreements, mitigate risk, keep shows onstage and create a safe work environment for artists and staff. Please see our COVID safety rules below. Thank you for your understanding.
Marin Theatre Company is a vaccinated organization, including staff, artists, and volunteers. For the health and safety of our artists, audiences, staff, and volunteers, MTC will observe the following safety measures:
-Patrons must wear an appropriate face mask at all times while attending the show. MTC encourages using N95, KN95, surgical masks, or three-layer cloth masks while in the building. Neck gaiters and bandanas will not be acceptable face coverings for the performance.
MTC has also put the following safety measures in place:
-We have upgraded our ventilation systems, which now exceed the recommended standard for COVID-19 protection.
-The theatre, lobby area, and restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected after every performance.
-Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the lobby area and restrooms.
-Digital programs. We will continue to provide insightful information on the performance and artists in a digital program, with one-sheets available with general information about our cast and crew; you will receive a link to the program with your ticket confirmation.
We look forward to safely, respectfully, and joyfully welcoming you back to our theatre. So that we can once again enjoy the unforgettable shared experience of live performances, we promise to be patient and kind in our interactions with audiences, and we appreciate you playing your part in keeping yourself, your fellow audience members, and our staff, volunteers and artists safe.
