The next Sitter Saturday event for Marjorie Prime will be
on Saturday, May 12 at 2pm, offering onsite childcare at no additional cost!
Marin Theatre Company is proud to continue its partnership with UrbanSitter this season, a website and app that helps busy parents find trusted babysitters and nannies, to help the numerous young families in the Bay Area attend live theater more easily.
MTC will cover the cost of childcare provided by UrbanSitter for one Saturday matinee performance per main stage show so you don't have to!
Babysitters will be onsite beginning at 30 minutes to curtain. Pickup is available as late as the conclusion of the post-show Q&A.

FAQ's:
Where do I drop off my child, and where will he or she be during the performance? Child drop-off is at the Woodward Rehearsal Room, a clean and safe space just off of Marin Theatre Company's lobby. A member of MTC's staff will welcome you, introduce you to the sitters, and take down you and your child's names, a phone number, and your seat locations. Weather permitting, there may be an excursion to our outdoor patio area. Your child will never leave MTC's premises and will always be supervised.
Who are the babysitters? All of the babysitters hired for Sitter Saturday are highly recommended by UrbanSitter users. We will post links to their profiles here once they are hired.
What activities will be available for my child? There will be a variety of toys available, as well as some planned activities. If your child has a favorite toy and would like to bring it with him or her, please let MTC staff know when you arrive and we will make sure it is returned to you when the show is over.
Will there be snacks and drinks provided? No. Please plan to bring a snack for your child, or purchase something appropriate in the MTC café prior to dropping him or her off.
What if I cannot attend on the specified dates? You can use this link at UrbanSitter to schedule a babysitter or nanny safely, securely and any time. PLUS, when you use that link (or the code BYMARINTHEATRE) as a new UrbanSitter user, you receive a discount, and MTC receives a $20 donation.
