Summer Camp
We would like to invite your camper to join us for a summer of ARABIAN NIGHTS!!!!
Enrollment is now open for Marin Theatre Company’s 2013 Summer Theater Camp for students entering grades 1-12 in the fall of 2013. The three-week full-day camp features morning training sessions with professional theater artists and afternoon rehearsals that culminate in three fully staged performances of either the musical Disney’s Aladdin or an original adaptation of Arabian Nights.
Summer camp dates: July 8-26, performances July 26-28, camper/family potluck July 26, 4:30-6:00 pm
Summer camp day: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Summer camp location: Marin Horizon’s School, Mill Valley
Performance location: Marin Theatre Company, Mill Valley
Age range: 6-17 years old (1st-12th grades) – Students will be divided up into age appropriate groups of 18, which will allow for smaller cast sizes and age/development specific instruction.

Disney’s Aladdin Kids (Musical - 30 minute version)
All of your favorite characters are here in Disney's Aladdin Kids, a stage adaptation of the hit Disney film. Filled with magic, mayhem and flying carpet rides, audiences' spirits will soar with excitement.
Group A: Grades 1st-2nd
Performance times: Friday, July 26, at 10:00 am; Saturday, July 27, at 11:30 am and Sunday, July 28, at 11:30 am (Note: Call time is 1 hour before curtain)
Group B: Grades 3rd-4th
Performance times: Friday, July 26, at 11:45 am; Saturday, July 27, at 1:15 pm and Sunday, July 28, at 1:15 pm (Note: Call time is 1 hour before curtain)

Arabian Nights (Original adaptation, straight play/non-musical - 60 minutes)
The MTC literary team is collaborating on a modern day adaptation of Arabian Nights. Delving into the world of these stories will have young actors sword fighting and playing multiple characters.
Performance times: Friday, July 26, at 6:30 pm; Saturday, July 27, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, July 28, at 7:30 pm (Note: Call time is 1 hour before curtain)
