Let Marin Theatre Company nurture your child’s passion for theater at our Summer Performance Camp, June 30 - July 19, 2014. The three-week intensive day camp for students entering grades 1-10, culminates in fully produced performances of Disney's Peter Pan Jr. at MTC. Our program takes students through the process of creating a play from auditions through rehearsal to performing in a full-scale production. Students will engage their imaginations, study theater and work together as an ensemble to put on a production during this exciting and comprehensive summer experience.
Daily schedule includes:
• Rehearsals: Dance, music and staging
• Classes: character development, dance, singing, improvisation, master classes and more!

About the show
Disney’s Peter Pan Jr.
Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Neverland. Their adventure introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate Captain Hook!
This production has great roles for every child from fairies to lost boys to pirates and mermaids. Come and join us in Neverland this summer!
June 30-July 19, 2014 (No camp July 4)
Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm
(Extended care available)
Performances will be Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19 between 10:00am and 6:30pm. The performance schedule will be set by May 1, 2014. Students in grades 1-3 will split performances.
NOTE: July 18 starts as a normal camp day at 9am, campers will be able to watch each other’s performances. The day will end with a full camp family potluck!
Camp will be located at Ring Mountain Day School with tech rehearsals and final performances at Marin Theatre Company.
