CAST PARTY! 2016 ANNUAL FUNDRAISING GALA

MTC’s Annual Gala, Saturday, April 2, 2016

MILL VALLEY, CAMarin Theatre Company is excited to announce its annual fundraising gala, Cast Party! 2016 on Saturday, April 2, 2016. This year, MTC’s Gala committee will be honoring ten years of artistic leadership with Jasson Minadakis, as well as Norton J. “Sky” Cooper for his nine years of generous new play philanthropy and facilitation of MTC’s New Play Program.

The event will take place at the Mill Valley Community Center, featuring an elaborate dinner catered by Mill Valley’s own Stacy Scott, accompanied by the musical stylings of local jazz ensemble and friends of the theatre, Mood Swing. Fabulous items and experiences will be up for bid at both live and silent auctions throughout the evening, in addition to an exclusive wine room where exquisite samplings will be made available to guests interested in bidding on this year’s selection of fine wines.

This annual sold-out event attracts over 200 prominent community members, corporate professionals and philanthropic leaders from throughout the Bay Area. Cast Party! 2016 is chaired by Tracy Haughton and Kathleen Taylor, with the assistance of committee members Cheryl Brandon, Bobbie and Dave Chapman, Kipp Delbyck, Molly Dick, Carol Feagles, Diana Gay-Catania, Susan Holdstein, Lori Lerner, Stacy Scott, Fred Taylor and Beth Wintersteen. Marin Theatre Company is committed to exploring and developing new work for the American theater, supporting playwrights with their creative process from conception to production and engaging audiences with the best contemporary new plays. Through multiple programs, MTC seeks out writers and champions projects for continued life on the MTC stage and beyond. With our commissioning program, new play prizes, new play series of staged readings, playwright residencies and a commitment to world premiere productions, MTC promotes the future of the American theater.
