MTC Exclusive Whisky Tasting

This invitation to our Whisky Tasting community event at the Friday, Oct. 14 performance of Dunsinane will be limited to an intimate gathering of 25 patrons.

While this tasting is a $75 per person event, our organization is providing it to our patrons for only $25 to foster community and celebration around live theatre.

Patrons will enjoy three drams that represent the wide spectrum of flavors that make Scotland the leading producer of whisky in the world, hosted by local production manager and designer, Jeff Rowlings, who has been collecting and tasting whiskies for 25 years including two tours of distilleries across Scotland and is a member of the Scotch Malt Whisky Association.

We’ll enjoy an Islay whisky infused with that peaty flavor for which that small island is famous, a Speyside whisky whose water is drawn from the River Spey that is found in some of the best selling whiskies world-wide, and a third whisky whose flavor profile is defined by the impact of the North Sea maritime air on the ex-bourbon casks in which the whisky is aged.

Your ticket includes the various whisky tastings as well as small snacks to enhance the experience.

  • Start time: 6:30 PM PST, prior to the evening performance of Dunsinane
  • Location: Marin Theatre Company, 397 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941
