For rising 2nd-5th graders:

Mother Goosed 

July 8-12
9am-3pm
Tuition: $650

Performance: July 12 at 3:30pm

Join us for this Production camp of Mother Goosed! In this camp, students will be cast,  rehearse with a professional director, and perform all in one week! The production team at MTC will support this show with lights, costumes, and set design.

About the Show: Something unprecedented is happening in Fairytale Land -- all the nursery rhyme characters are revolting against their own stories. Humpty Dumpty refuses to fall off the wall, Little Miss Muffet strikes back at the spider, and Peter Piper finally loses his peppers. Fortunately, the local news crew is live on the scene -- but Frank the anchor has jumped ship, and Mother Goose is keeping suspiciously silent...

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS

July 15-27
9am-3pm
Tuition: $1100

Performances: July 26 & 27 at 6pm, July 27 at 2pm

Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Kids is a 30-minute version of the musical that has been specially arranged for elementary performers. Students will audition and then learn choreography, music, and blocking as they rehearse and perform in this family favorite show!

About the show: The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth. Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory – or suffer the consequences!

A Little Help 

June 24-28
9am-3pm

Performance: June 28 at 3:30pm

Join us for this Production camp of A Little Help! In this camp, students will be cast,  rehearse with a professional director, and perform all in one week! The production team at MTC will support this show with lights, costumes, and set design.

About the Show: Sam is a woman on the run. What started as an innocent search for self-improvement becomes a nightmare at the local Help Store, whose status-obsessed representatives insist on radical alterations to Sam's body image (both natural and surgical), her finances, and her romantic life. Will Sam be seduced by this impossible quest for perfection? Unfolding in Seuss-esque rhymed couplets, this large-cast comedy questions the modern assumption that something's got to be wrong with everyone.

This camp will focus on mounting a production of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Jr., a 60-minute version of the musical that has been specially arranged for middle and high school performers. Students will audition and learn choreography, music, and blocking as they rehearse and perform in this musical extravaganza!
