Professional Development Series
Education, Arts, & Theatre (EAT)
Marin Theatre Company is thrilled to announce its first annual professional development series for PreK and K-12 educators: Education, Arts & Theatre (EAT)! In these ten sessions, MTC will coordinate trainings with our professional teaching artists and other Bay Area arts integration experts throughout the year to help teachers grow in their skill sets and harness theatre’s power of kinesthetic learning to creatively teach core subjects. Formal clock hours will provide CEUs towards recertification.
Each session will start with a meet and greet over dinner- a great way to meet and catch up with colleagues while enjoying some delicious food! Following dinner, we’ll focus on a specific skill that teachers will be able to take back to their classroom for immediate implementation. Time will be set aside at each training for participants to discuss how they have been utilizing skills presented and address any challenges they faced in transferring skills to their own classroom.
Tuition: $100 for 10 sessions
All EAT sessions will be held from 6pm-9pm at MTC.
