Classes for Grades 4-12

All Fall 2020 Drama Conservatory classes will be held digitally via Zoom meetings. 

Once your student is registered, you will be contacted regarding providing additional information about your student to help better serve them through our distance learning program, and will also be provided with instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting classes for each session.

Improv Jam (Grades 6-12)

One-day classes

Want to try improv, but not sure where to jump in? This is the class for you!

Hone that funny bone and join us for a one-day-only class! Together we will explore unscripted improv through games and exercises designed to build confidence in quick thinking, listening, and collaboration.

Zoom Improv: Scene Building (Grades 4-12)

Mondays, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM | Tuition: $175
March 8, 15, 22, 29, April 12, 19, 26, and May 3
No class April 5th.

Calling all actors: want to work on your characters or comedic timing? Join us as we use improv games and exercises to gain skills in quick thinking, scene building, and character development. Each week, students will explore and experiment with unscripted material, creating entire storylines of their own!

The Actor’s Toolbox: Scene Analysis (Grades 6-12)

Fridays, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM | Tuition: $175
March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 16, 23, 30, and May 7
No class April 9th.

In this session of our Actor’s Toolbox class, we’ll be examining a contemporary play in its entirety. We’ll read the play together, discuss its place in history, unpack the themes and characters, and ultimately perform scenes from and about the play, with a stronger understanding of how these scenes fit into the whole.
