Classes for Grades 1-5

Your health & safety are important to us!

All Winter/Spring 2021 Drama Conservatory classes will be held digitally via Zoom meetings.

Once your student is registered, you will be contacted regarding providing additional information about your student to help better serve them through our distance learning program, and will also be provided with instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting classes for each session.

Imagination Stations (Grades K-3)

One-day classes 
Saturdays, 10:00 AM-  12:00 PM | Tuition: $20

Join us for a one-day class as we jump into the world of theatre through games, crafts, creative play, and the power of imagination. This class is built to be enjoyed by families, just be prepared for some fun and silliness to ensue!

January: Building the Actors Toolbox
This class will build up theatre skills for those who are just beginning their journey on to the stage. Games and exercises will focus on storytelling, group communication, and building their actors toolbox of skills.

Registration deadline for January: Thursday, January 14th


February: Musical Theatre for Young Actors
This class brings together beginning acting and music skills. We will discover how music adds to telling a story with our bodies and our voices through games, exercises, and group singing. 

Registration deadline for February: Thursday, February 25th


March: Creating the Young Playwright
Kids are full of creative and new stories, join us to bring one of them to life! Using theatre skills and group storytelling, students will create and write a short play of their own.

Improv Jam (Grades 3-5)

One-day classes 
Saturdays, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Tuition: $20

Want to try improv, but not sure where to jump in? This is the class for you!

Hone that funny bone and join us for a one-day-only class! Together we will explore unscripted improv through games and exercises designed to build confidence in quick thinking, listening, and collaboration.

Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy

If there is insufficient enrollment, the class may be cancelled at the sole discretion of Marin Theatre Company. Tuition received for classes cancelled by MTC will be refunded in full.

No refunds will be given past the registration deadline for each class.
