Connecting With Community
Engaging with the Bay Area community through the work we put on stage is at the heart of what we do at MTC. Pursuing a dialogue with our community that addresses our national and local concerns and interests and assists us in finding a new understanding of our lives is an integral part of our mission statement.
The way we do this is through holding Post-Show Q&As after almost every performance, Pre-Show Discussions on Wednedays performances, Library Talks, Engagement Boards in the lobby, and sharing Dramaturgical materials on our website. We are very interested in hearing your thoughts and opinions on the work we are doing, as well as sharing the ideas behind the work we present onstage. We invite you to join the conversation through any of the options available.
Please join us after every performance for this opportunity to discuss the play, themes, process, etc. with a member of our Artistic Team. Actors are welcome to join and most times pop in for the chat!
*There is no Q&A following opening/closing night performances and on Saturdays.
Please join us as we discuss the play, themes, playwright, and artistic process for the evening's production!
*Wednesdays prior to performances at 6:40pm
At the Library!
Join us at these FREE, informal events to learn more about our upcoming plays before you attend! These events are helpful ways to learn more about our upcoming productions. They provide insight into the themes, as well as, the playwrights. The Window on the Works series focuses more specifically on our production; design, casting and rehearsal process. When available actors, directors, and designers will join us in these discussions!
