Penned by Atlanta-based Sandra Deer, the story focuses in on the strained relationship between three generations – an aging firecracker of a matriarch named Ruby Land Parker, her middle-aged daughter, Diana and her adult grandson Josh. Through a tumultuous year, the family struggles to understand and embrace the powerful forces that both divide and bind them to one another, while coping with Ruby’s onset of Alzheimer’s. As Ruby fights for her identity and memories, Diane and Josh begin to discover a woman they never knew.
