Marin Theatre Company, a LORT D theatre, is looking for a dynamic individual to fill this new position. The Communications Director will be responsible for managing all public relations, for producing playbills and email newsletters and for providing other marketing and design support as needed. The position reports to the Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of publicity experience with excellent writing and speaking skills. Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PatronMail or equivalents. Though not required, experience with Dreamweaver and the ability to shoot, edit, and post video on the web are desirable. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or journalism is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. No phone calls please. A detailed job description can be downloaded here.
