The Lion King Experience Kids Edition
Rising 2nd - 5th Graders

The Lion King Experience Kids Edition is a 30-minute version of the musical that has been specially arranged for elementary performers. Students will audition and then learn choreography, music, and blocking as they rehearse and perform in this classic Disney tale!
Performances: July 27 & 28 at 6:00 PM, and July 28 at 2:00 PM
The Lion King Experience JR. Edition
Rising 6th - 12th Graders
July 16 - August 3
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
This camp will focus on mounting a production of The Lion King Experience Jr. Edition, a 60-minute version of the hit Broadway musical that has been specially arranged for middle and high school performers. Students will audition and learn choreography, music, and blocking as they rehearse and perform in this musical extravaganza.
Performances: August 3 & 4 at 7:00 PM, and August 4 at 2:00 PM

Join us for this Production camp of 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play! In this camp, students will be cast, rehearse with a professional director, and perform all in one week! The production team at MTC will support this show with lights, costumes, and set design.

About the show: 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play is a play about not being in a play, ironically expressed through a hilarious series of monologues, duets, and ensemble scenes. From early traumas involving a glory-seeking elementary school teacher to possible disturbances in the global climate, 15 Reasons Not To Be in a Play keeps the audience guessing just what scenario will be next!
Acting Class is available for all Production Camps. Once students have been cast in their roles, extra time will be spent honing characters and focusing on skills such as stage presence, projection, memorization, and stage movement.
